KIWI- health benefits and importance of this fruit !



These are the edible fruits which were first seen in the China and were popular due to their famous heath benefits because of which they were introduced in early 20th century and then later in US in late 1960’s!


Though it’s named as Chinese gooseberry- this fruit has earned a lot of fame due to the health benefits from this fruit and its very natural that when such a fruits affords to give you such a beautiful health benefit!
Now, how come the Chinese gooseberry got a new name called kiwi?
As we all know that the national bird of New Zealand is kiwi and so the fruit was named after this bird called kiwi. The respect shown by the people of New Zealand explains the importance of this fruit and the health benefits attained due to this fruit by this people!

As we all know that in such a competitive world as today the market has spread its wings all over the world and anything is possible to be done for the purpose of quality and requirements to fulfill and hence the production of this fruit has began in various parts of the word so that the dependency on other countries for such fruits is reduced and that the country men can be made easily accessible in the country itself! As of today countries such as France, Japan, Italy and also US are involved in a larger number of these fruits and are known to be the presently largest producers of the globe.

There’re basically two types in which these countries are leading in producing them and they are- green and gold!

Importance of kiwi or the nutritional facts on kiwi-
-Kiwi is known to be an excellent storage of omega-3 fatty acids which is essential in various health benefits like the coronary diseases which is linked to the heart and also is essential in development of the children.

-The antioxidant properties like the polyphenols are also found in large number in this fruit which gives it a special status as the antioxidant property helps the body to be free from the free-radicals which affect the body!

-When there’s a comparison on the presence of antioxidant properties between kiwi and other fruits then it was found that the antioxidants resent in kiwi was more potent than that of found in grapes or oranges.
-Oxidative stress can lead people to various diseases and this is prevented by the regular consumption of kiwi fruits which keeps the problems at bay which are caused by such oxidative stress!
